Ogun To Generate N215.6million From 280 Private Schools In 2017

The Ogun state Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mrs. Modupe Mujota has said the state government is planning to generate N215.6million from Private Schools across the state in 2017.

 The commissioner explained further that the ministry would generate this funds through the issuance of license to private schools across the state, she further disclosed that  part of the proposed money would be  from registration and approved fee for 280 private secondary schools for in the state.
Modupe stated this while defending  the 2017 budget proposal of the ministry before the House of Assembly committee on finance and appropriation.
She further said the ministry would also squeeze out  the fund  from private schools through the registration and approval  of private hostels for 375 hostels across the state.
