UPN Charges NPF, Call For Peace Ahead Forthcoming Local Govt Elections in Ogun

Speaking at a joint assembly organized by the Nigerian Police (Ogun State Command) in conjunction with different safety operatives within the state to speak to all of the Political Leaders and Chairmen in the state, Which was held at the state headquarters Elewe-Eran, the Ogun State Commissioner of Police CP Ilyiasu charged all political leaders and heads to behave themselves and of good conduct before, at some stage in and after the electioneering process.

In response, UPN Ogun State Chairlady, Hon. Iredee Oginni urged the ogun police teamto ensure maximum security at all cost during the elections.
According to Hon. Oginni, She said;  “Unity Party of Nigeria is a party of peace and of good conduct and are ready to obey all electoral rules and regulations without causing any chaos and unnecessary hullabaloo”.

“Proper sensitization has been carried out on all aspirants from the party and that the men of the Nigerian Police have nothing to be afraid of as she is well assured UPN aspirants are well behaved and well mannered”

She further advised the fellow political parties to emulate Unity Party of Nigeria, in fostering peaceful co-existence amidst them in the state, she charged them that there is no gain in crime, hooliganism, snatching of ballot boxes and other vices, she also emphasized that election is not a do or die affair, rather a means of giving back to the society.

In attendance was the Ogun State Commander of the Nigerian Army (Alamala barracks), Ogun State Commander of NSCDC , Ogun State Police Public Relation Officer, All Registered Ogun State Political Parties and  member of OGSIEC.
